The visit encompassed a comprehensive tour of departmental laboratories, allowing exploration of the latest projects and fostering discussions about collaborative research ventures in areas of mutual interest between the Islamic University of Gaza and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Agreements were reached with the hosting professor to publish forthcoming research in the field and partake in supervisory roles for master’s theses at both institutions. Additionally, efforts were made to enhance and increase the number of Islamic University of Gaza’s students pursuing studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona through international credit mobility projects.
Ms. Wala Safi, institutional Coordinator of International Exchange Projects at the Islamic University of Gaza, emphasized that participation in international exchange opportunities offers a chance to engage with best scientific practices and exchange ideas with colleagues of diverse nationalities, ultimately positively influencing academic and professional development.
