A group of fifth-level male and female students at the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza began the one-month clinical training period (elective course). They started working in a range of university hospitals in Britain, Germany, Turkey, and many other nations around the world. The program includes extensive training for students in different departments, including general surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, radiology, dermatology, and urology.
This academic exchange is part of the international cooperation agreements the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University has signed with higher education institutions in many countries across the world, as well as several prestigious European hospitals. The purpose of such collaborative programs is to provide the students with exceptional experiences that raise their efficiency and equip them with the skills required to serve the health sector in Palestine.
Global Networking for a Qualified Medical Staff
The students expressed their gladness with this training since it is an opportunity to learn about the latest medical research findings in the Western World. This training gave them an insight into the level of work in hospitals outside Palestine as they cooperated with doctors from different backgrounds.

Dr. Fadl Naeem, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University, congratulated the students who took part in this high-level training and acknowledged their excellent work at the international level, wishing them further progress and success in their practical experiences in the medical field.
The experience goes in line with the purpose of the Faculty of Medicine, which is to exploit international networking for building a qualified medical staff. Since its establishment, the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University has recorded many accomplishments and concluded several agreements with universities and hospitals locally and globally. As the faculty is keen to perform its educational mission effectively, it develops the most modern curricula and takes advantage of the capabilities and support provided to serve its students and elevate their educational level, especially in scientific research.
