Dr. Manal Alashi, Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence, the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Islamic University of Gaza, has completed an international exchange period for teaching at Mus Alparslan University in eastern Turkey, as part of the international exchange activities funded by the European Erasmus+ program.
She was received by Dr. Yahya Adanir, Director of the Erasmus+ Office at Mus Alparslan University; Ms. Songel Sheshevi, Assistant Director of the Erasmus+ Office; Prof. Dr. Murad Sidr, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Mus Alparslan University; Dr. Mahmoud Al-Ghouthani; Dr. Youssef Aydin and Dr. Sherin Gul; Dr. Sadruddin Bogda and Dr. Muhammad Husayn , members of the teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the university.
During her visit to the university, Prof. Alashi gave several scientific lectures related to some juristic issues, such as genetic fingerprints and their impact on personal status issues, the importance of the Arabic language and teaching curricula in Palestine, in addition to holding sessions to discuss opportunities for academic and student exchange provided by the Erasmus+ program, and the possibility for students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University in Gaza to benefit from such opportunities.
Prof. Alashii met with two international exchange students, Mohamed Hamdiya and Shaima Fayyad, from the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University, who are spending an international exchange period for four months at Mus Alparslan University.

Signing a memorandum of understanding
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Islamic University and Mus Alparslan University to strengthen the partnership between the two universities. The terms of the memorandum require holding seminars, lectures, and joint scientific discussions, as well as arbitration of research and sharing publications of common interest between the two universities.
