A delegation from Quality and Development Deanship at Islamic University of Gaza visited Alparslan University in Turkey. The delegation included: Dr. Muhammad Abu Odeh, Deputy Dean of Quality and Development, and Dr. Muhammad Aziz, Deputy Director of Quality and Development. They were received by Ms. Songül ÇİFÇİ, Coordinator of Erasmus Plus Program. The visit is funded by the European Erasmus Plus program, and within international exchange activities.
The delegation addressed the inception of the Islamic University, its programs and specializations, and the services it provides in academic, research and community service aspects. Likewise, the delegation was informed about Alparslan University, the specializations it offers and the services it provides to students.
The delegation also visited Faculty of Education at Müş Alparslan University, they were received by Dr. Wiesel Amir Aka, Deputy Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Aisha Kartal, a fauclty member at Curricula Department. The delegation was briefed on mechanisms used by the university in teaching.
During the visit, the two parties held several meetings to discuss ways of joint cooperation, in addition to a meeting with Prof. Dr. Yashar Kara Dag, Vice President for Quality Affairs, where the two sides discussed mechanisms used in quality assurance at both universities. The delegation also met with Prof. Dr. Ulash Chaidash, Vice President of the University, where they underlined IUG services provided to students including laboratories, scientific and professional centers that support the educational process. They also tackled IUG keenness to support students and give them the opportunity to complete their education and achieve their future aspiration.
At the end of their visit to the University of Müş Alparslan University, Quality and Development delegation sent the greetings of Islamic University President and Quality and Development Dean to the Vice President for Quality Affairs, and granted him Islamic University’s shield of honor.
