IUG has signed agreements on exchange and academic cooperation as well as memorandums of understanding with a number of Turkish universities. The first agreement was with ALTINBAŞ UNIVERSITY in Turkey. Prof. Naser Farhat, IUG President, represented IUG, while Prof. Jagyri Arhan, ALTINBAŞ President, represented ALTINBAŞ UNIVERSITY.
The second agreement was with SÜLEYMAN DEMİREL UNIVERSITY in Turkey, under Mevlana Exchange Program. Prof. Naser Farhat, IUG President, represented IUG party, while Prof. Elker Jereski, SÜLEYMAN DEMİREL President, represented SÜLEYMAN DEMİREL UNIVERSITY.
These agreements and memorandums of understanding aim at strengthening cooperative relations between partner universities and promoting teaching, research and education activities in several areas, including: Exchange of students for study, exchange of academics for teaching, research and participation in educational programs, exchange of experiences and publications in areas of interest to the universities, as well as organizing mutual academic activities, such as: academic conferences, collaborative lectures, special short courses and symposiums.
