The Islamic University of Gaza signed an academic, research and cultural cooperation agreement with University of Seville in Spain, based on IUG devotion to expand and diversify its international relations and partnerships and to strengthen the capacities of its staff and students.
This agreement was signed by Prof. Nasser Farhat, IUG President, and his counterpart Prof. Miguel Ángel Castro Arroyo, President of University of Seville.
The signed cooperation agreement, which will be in force for four years from the date of signature, aims to promote direct communication and cooperation between faculty members and researchers of the two universities through the exchange of experiences in teaching, research and culture areas of common interest. It also aims to develop joint research projects, joint supervision on postgraduate programs, exchange of faculty members, researchers and students, as well as holding joint courses, seminars, symposiums and other activities.
