Within Erasmus Plus Programme KA1- International Credit Mobility- ICM, Dr. Nazmi Al- Masri- Vice president for External Affairs, on behalf of IUG and Ms. Celine Reynaud- International Experiences Manager- on behalf of the University of Glasgow- UK have signed an Inter Institutional Agreement to support academic exchange for both IUG students and staff.
This qualitative agreement, which is financed by Erasmus+ project aims at allowing IUG’s staff and students to study an academic semester or one academic year in the University of Glasgow, or delivering lecture or attending training courses for the academic and administrative staff.
Dr. Al-Masri pointed out that this agreement is the first of its type in Palestine in the field of available opportunities of mobility, which reached (24) opportunity for IUG BA and MA students, and (10) opportunities for IUG academic and administrative staff.
Ms. Wala’a Safi- ICM project coordinator- added that, with this agreement the total number of IUG projects under this programme has increased to 12 projects in 8 EU countries.
It is worth to say that IUG has partnerships with (130) European Universities resulted from its different participation in programs financed by the international projects based on academic and research partnerships.
