IUG received a delegation from the European Union Representative. The delegation included Mr. Ricardo Rosa, Head of the Economic Development Department-Office of the Representative of the Euro-Union in Jerusalem, and Mr. Thomas Buer, Economic and Trade Development Manager.
The delegation was received by Prof. Nasraddin El-Muzini, IUG Board of Trustees chairman, at IUG, accompanied with Prof. Adel Awadallah, IUG President and Dr. Nazmi Al Masri, Vice President for External Affairs as well as other members of IUG’s staff.
The delegation has a tour in the University Museum and a look at the project “Supporting Business Incubators for Entrepreneurial Companies”. Business Startup Incubator Support (BSIS-project) was funded by the European Union and implemented by the Belgian Development Agency in partnership with (6) institutions and business incubators from all Palestinian cities.
Professor El-Muzini welcomed the delegation and appreciated their constant support for entrepreneurial companies all over Palestine and especially in IUG’s business and technology incubator.
The EU Representative delegation expressed their happiness with their visit to the Islamic University and stressed on the need to develop academic and entrepreneurial cooperation with IUG.
