Palestinian Water Authority announced the names of students who have been accepted for the scholarships provided by the Middle East Desalination Research Center MEDRC program.
Nine masters students from IUG faculties of Engineering and Science won the scholarship out of 29 masters students from Palestinian universities who received the scholarships.
Vice president for Research and Graduate Studies expressed his delight for the news and stressed on the importance of MEDRC’s grant in the support of scientific research to graduate students in Palestinian universities in the areas of energy, water desalination and wastewater.
It should be noted that each year the Middle East Desalination Research Center, which is a specialist center for desalination of saline water and sea water, alternative energy research, and wastewater reuse, offers a group of scholarships for masters students at Palestinian universities. IUG wins a sizable number of scholarships each year.
