In order to reinforce and widen IUG academic collaboration and partnerships with British, German and American universities, IUG Vice President for External Relations, Dr. Nazmi Al-Masri has recently been on a tour to some universities in these countries.
During his tour, Dr. Al-Masri held meetings and networking with more than 20 academics from several British universities to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Dr. Al-Masri also participated in visiting, networking and exchanging ideas and information with senior academics and administrators in 5 universities in London; including : London School of Economics (LSE); South African and Oriental School (SOAS), University of London; Brunel University; Greenwich University; and Roehampton University.

Dr. Al-Masri also delivered 3 presentations to about 40 Academics coming from different British universities. The presentations are titled Academic & research collaboration: IUG a success story; Core skills towards global employability; Overview of Palestinian Higher Education Particular challenges faced by Palestinian Universities, jointly with Dr. Mirvat Bulbul – BZU.
IUG vice president participated actively in a 4-day event aiming at building academic and research collaboration between Palestinian and British Universities. Eight vice presidents of Palestinian universities participated in the event (IUG, Al-Azher, BZU, Bethlehem University, Hebron University, Hebron Polytechnic University, and Khadoori University).
