The External Relations Affairs at the Islamic University of Gaza- IUG, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, the European Union, and the National Office of Erasmus Plus in Palestine organized an info. day for Erasmus Plus program (E+) to support education and training projects during the period 2014-2020, the workshop was held via video conference technology.
The Info Day included from the Islamic University Prof. Adel Awadallah –IUG President, Dr. Nazmi Al-Masri –Vice president for External Relations Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Muheisen –Assistant of Vice President for External Relations, and Mr. Husam Ayesh- Coordinator of external grants. And participated by experts from Ramallah through video conference such as Mr. Ralph Tarraf -EU Representative-, and Dr. Nedal Jayousi- Director of National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine-, and was attended by number of representatives of higher education institutions, NGOs, and collection of academics.
The Info Day highlighted the introduction and explanation of Erasmus program and its two main actions which are: International Credit Mobility, Co-operation Projects focused on Capacity Building In The Field Of Higher Education and specific activities such as EMJMD and Jean Monnet activity and how to apply for each action and activity.
