slamic University of Gaza gains the highest percentage of grants in AvempaceIII project funded by Erasmus Mundus programme, which is 44.44 % of the grand total.
The Palestinian partner universities : Islamic University of Gaza , Al-Najah National University and Birzeit University were competing on a 18 grants covering different academic levels: bachelor’s and master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral in addition to academic and administrative staff exchange.
It’s worth mentioning that IUG is a partner in another 3 different ERASMUS MUNUDS projects : Phoenix, Hermes and PEACE II whose selection results will be announced by May 2014
