يهدف البرنامج لتقديم المنح التعليمية لمرحلة البكالوريوس الجامعية والماجستير للطلاب الإماراتيين والعرب المتفوقين والذين لم تسعفهم الظروف في إتمام تعليمهم الأكاديمي، وذلك ضمن اختصاصات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات في الجامعات الشريكة وهي:
• جامعة خليفة في أبو ظبي
• الجامعة الأميركية في الشارقة
• الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت
• الجامعة الأميركية في القاهرة
كي تكون مؤهلاً للتقدم إلى هذا البرنامج ينبغي أن:
• تكون مواطناً من إحدى الدول العربية و ليس لديك جنسية أخرى و أن تكون من ذوي الدخل المحدود
• يتراوح عمرك بين الـ 15 و30 عاماً.
• تكون حاصلاً على معدل لا يقل عن 85% في الثانوية، أو 3.0 في الجامعة
• تتقن اللغة الإنجليزية وفق المعايير التي تقبلها أفضل الجامعات
• قادرٌ ومستعد لتقديم إثباتات حول احتياجاتك المالية
• حاصلٌ على القبول في إحدى جامعاتنا الشريكة لدراسة المرحلة الجامعية أو الدراسات العليا في برنامجٍ متعلق بمجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات "STEM
• ستمنح الأفضلية للمرشحين الذين كانوا مقيمين في الوطن العربي على مدى 12 سنة على الأقل
ماهي الوثائق المطلوبة للتقدم بالطلب؟
سوف تحتاج لتحميل عدة وثائق رسمية كجزء من إكمال طلبك. تتضمن هذه الوثائق:
• نسخة من الوثائق الشخصية (دفتر العائلة، جواز السفر، بطاقة الهوية الوطنية، الإقامة، وما إلى ذلك(
• إثبات المؤهلات الأكاديمية (شهادات المراحل الدراسية، علامات TOEFL/IELTS، وما إلى ذلك(
• إثبات الحالة المادية (شهادة راتب حديثة، كشف حساب مصرفي، عقد إيجار البيت، عقود الملكية، فواتير تعليم الأخوة أو غيرهم من أفراد العائلة، وما إلى ذلك(

1. حتى يتم دراسة طلبك لبرنامج الغرير لطلبة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، سيتوجب عليك التقدم بنفسك مباشرةً للقبول بإحدى جامعاتنا الشريكة في أحد البرامج المعتمدة من قبلنا.
2. بإمكانك التقدم بطلب القبول لبرنامج الغرير إن كنت تنتظر ردوداً من الجامعات، أو إن كنت تخطط التقدم إلى الجامعة قبل الموعد النهائي. ولكن حتى تحصل على القبول النهائي لمنحة الغرير عليك أن تجتاز إجراءات القبول والاختبار لدينا وأن تكون مقبول من إحدى جامعاتنا الشريكة
ما الذي يقدمه برنامج الغرير لطلبة العلوم والتكنولوجيا؟
تبعاً لحاجتك المادية، يشمل الدعم:
• الدعم المالي الكامل أو الجزئي لتسديد الرسوم الجامعية، خلال المدة المطلوبة للحصول على شهادة فقط
• التكاليف الجامعية الضرورية (رسوم التسجيل، تكاليف الأنشطة الجامعية، المختبرات، وما إلى ذلك)
• تكاليف السكن الجامعي على أن يكون مشترك
• التكلفة الفعلية للكتب
• تكاليف السفر إلى بلد الدراسة، إذا لم تكن مقيماً في المدينة أو الدولة التي سوف تدرس بها
• تكاليف تأشيرة الدخول للطلاب أو الإقامة الخاصة بالطلاب
• تكاليف التأمين الصحي الذي توفره الجامعة

- Notes : Supporting Material: The application and the documents requested in the call for applications must be sent in pdf format to transcrime-at-unicatt.it, within the deadline indicated in the call for applications. Each candidate must send a research proposal in English for his/her Ph.D. thesis. The proposal should be divided in the following sections: review of the state-of-the-art; research problem and questions; objectives and methodology; expected results and possible limitations. The research proposal must not exceed 20 thousand characters (bibliography included).
How to Apply: It is possible to participate in an informal pre-application process at any moment of the year by sending an email to the Coordinator of the PhD (Prof. Francesco Calderoni, francesco.calderoni-at-unicatt.it) or to Transcrime’s Secretariat (transcrime-at-unicatt.it) and attaching an English CV. Afterwards, the candidate may be invited to submit a research proposal in English and to participate in a phone or Skype interview to discuss the proposal.

Study Subject: IDRC Doctoral Research Awards (IDRAs) support research aligned with IDRC’s mandate and thematic priorities. Proposed research must fit within the priorities of the Agriculture and Environment, Inclusive Economies, or Technology and Innovation program areas as set out in this document.
Scholarship Award: The award will cover justifiable field research expenses up to CA$20,000. The budget covers one return trip from Canada to the developing country of research. It also covers housing, food, insurance, travel within the country (ies), and several field research expenses. The award does not support expenses related to your relatives, spouse, or children.
Scholarship can be taken at: Canada (doctoral studies at a Canadian university) and one or more developing countries (field research).
Eligibility: To be eligible, applicant must meet the following requirements:
-Be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, or a citizen of a developing country.
-Be enrolled at a Canadian university at the doctoral level
-Research proposal must be approved by applicants thesis supervisor.
-Proposed field research must take place in one or more developing countries and be conducted for a doctoral dissertation.
-Must provide evidence of affiliation with an institution or organization in the developing region(s) in which the research will take place.
-Must have completed coursework and passed comprehensive exams before taking up the award.
-May not be in receipt of two or more active IDRC awards at the same time. No time overlaps will be permitted.
