Are you a Palestinian national aged between 25 and 35? Have you finished your studies and are you looking for an experience abroad? The EU-funded project ‘Capacity Building Relay Race’ (CaBuReRa) is offering to you the opportunity to develop your professional skills during a 4-month period in Italy, Greece or Portugal.

CaBuReRa will offer 5 Palestinian youth workers a comprehensive training opportunity in project cycle management and on issues related to Mediterranean cooperation.

Concretely, the participants will be involved in the following activities:

·         4-month training abroad at one of the partner’s organisation (2 to Italy+ 2 to Portugal+ 1 to Greece), expected to start between September/October 2014 and preceded by an international pre-departure training meeting;

·         E-distance tutoring: during the period when a second group (young unemployed) will receive training, the youth workers will carry out a tutoring activity which will consist of weekly online meetings.

Accommodation, subsistence and travel costs (up to 90%) of selected candidates will be covered by the project.

Applications (containing the dedicated form, CV and a cover letter) should be sent by 25 June 2014.

CaBuReRa (Capacity Building Relay Race), funded under the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2007/2013, aims to reduce youth unemployment in the Mediterranean area through the promotion of mobility and vocational education of young people, building their capacities in the sector of project management. This initiative will provide 90 young people with the opportunity to live a 4-month period in a foreign country, during which they will acquire both professional skills and intercultural competences. CaBuReRa aims to become a pilot project for the development of new strategies addressing the issue of youth transition from education to work in the Mediterranean area.
The project is coordinated by the European Centre of Studies and Initiatives – CESIE (Italy, Sicilia) – and gathers six partners from Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Portugal.
