Erasmus+ Programme offers funding and opportunities for the academic and non-academic staff.

The purpose of staff mobility is to contribute to the overall priorities of Erasmus+, the EU Agenda for Modernisation HE and the international strategy of the University.  Staff Mobility is therefore not solely intended to be for the benefit or career development of the individual member of staff.

Staff Mobility is split into two categories;

1.      Staff mobility for Teaching

2.      Staff mobility for Training of the Administrative Staff.

As regards staff and professionals involved in education, the mobility activities are expected to achieve the following outcomes:

1. Improved competences, linked to their professional profiles;

2. Broader understanding of practices, policies and systems in education, training or youth across countries;

3. Increased capacity to trigger changes in terms of modernization and international opening within their educational organizations;

4. Better quality of their work and activities in favor of students, trainees, apprentices, pupils, adult learners, young people and volunteers;

5. Greater understanding and responsiveness to social, linguistic and cultural diversity;

6. Increased ability to address the needs of the disadvantaged;

7. Increased support for and promotion of mobility activities for learners;

8. Increased opportunities for professional and career development;

9. Improved foreign language competences;

10. Increased motivation and satisfaction in their daily work.
