Oxford Brookes University “Gaza Scholarship” 2014-2015

Applications are invited for the Oxford Brookes University Gaza Scholarship for entry in September 2014. The scholarship covers fees, accommodation and some living expenses for the Academic Year 2014/2015. 

Applicants should fulfil the following criteria:

• Wish to study for a one year full-time master’s degree at Oxford Brookes University
• Have a good undergraduate degree ( equivalent to a 1^st/2:1 )
• Be under 35 years of age
• Have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above
• Have relevant work experience
• Undertake to return to Gaza after completing their studies
• Be in financial need

There are two aspects to the application required for this scholarship:

1. Application for admission to a particular program

Priority fields of study (other areas may also be considered)

·         Built Environment, regeneration , development , environmental management

·         Development and emergency practice

·         Public Health, disease prevention and control, rehabilitation, social care

·         Law, human rights

·         IT

2. Application for the scholarship

Having made the application as described above, applicants for the scholarship should then write a covering letter of no more than 500 words, confirming that they have applied for admission to the university, stating which program they have applied for, and  explaining both how they meet the criteria and why they should be considered for the scholarship.  This letter should be sent directly to THE BRITISH Council in Gaza, care of: [email protected]  . 

The University of Naples FEDERICO II proposes three PhD grants in the domain of physics. Candidates must submit their applications before January 10. The deadline is very short but the formalities are easy to perform. The candidate is not asked for a scientific program: the selected students will have to choose to join one of the projects of the department of physics.
