IUG Wins Three Projects Funded By Erasmus Plus Program.

Keeping in the way of going up, IUG has won three international projects funded by European Union within Erasmus Plus Program-Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education (CBHE).

The first project is under coordination of University of Siegen- Germany entitled " Fostering Entrepreneurship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math " ,
The second project is under supervision of Birzeit University titled of "e- Academy to  Support Smart Cities in Palestine" 
and the third project is under coordination of Al-Azhar University titled of " Increasing the Conformance of Academia Towards Rehabilitation Engineering"
These projects will have been implemented until October 2020, with partnership of more than (10) European universities, including: University of Salford in the UK, University of Rome Sapienza in Italy, University of Málaga in Spain, University of Dublin in Ireland; University of Russ in Bulgaria; The Institute of Academic Rehabilitation of Slovenia. In addition to the Bulgarian Association for Transfer of technology and innovation in Bulgaria, and other European and local universities. 
Generally, these projects aim at:
• Building and enhancing graduates and academics' skills with what coordinates the general idea of the projects, in deferent fields.
• Supporting constructing Smart Cities to confine unemployment, shedding lights on Information Technology, Smart Web& communication.
• Providing Engineering Medical Equipment in the field of Rehabilitation.
It is noteworthy mentioned that IUG is the Main Coordinator of two projects funded by Erasmus Plus Program: Project of "Develop the capacity of Business and Economic Research Centres at  Palestinian Higher Education Institutions- BERC" (2015-2018), implemented by Faculty of Commerce; and the project of " "Research Output Management through Open Access Institutional Repositories in Palestinian Higher Education (ROMOR)" (2016-2019) implemented by the faculty of Information Technology
