International Mobility

Under International Credit Mobility, a HEI in a Partner Country can send its students or staff to a partner HEI in a Programme Country, and vice versa. Students candidates are able to study abroad for a limited period of 5 to 12 months for which credits are obtained. After the mobility phase, the students return to their sending institution to complete their studies. Similarly, staff can spend a teaching and/or training period abroad for up to 2 months.

 The following is a summary on IUG activities in the field of International Mobility:

1.  Islamic University of Gaza- IUG has engaged in six projects within Erasmus Mundus Program, in partnership with 70 local, regional and international universities, which are implemented during the period of  2012 to 2017.

2.  IUG has participated in more than 12 projects of International Credit Mobility- ICM within Erasmus Plus Program in partnership with 8 European countries. These projects are carried out during the period 2016-2019.

3.  IUG is a partner in the Turkish Cultural Exchange Program (Mevlana) in partnership with 6 Turkish universities, which are implemented in the period 2013-2021.
